What's up with us.

James and I have both said lately, "Can you believe the year is 1/4 over?" I wish I could slow down time so I can just enjoy life a little better. Yet, we have had a lot of good times... every week is a busy schedule. We've been trying to play with the Deans a lot since they are moving (sometime... whenever Canada lets them in... but in the meantime stay, stay longer!). So these are some pictures from our play day at Leo's.

Sammy had a busy couple of months. He had his birthday, earned his Bear badge and moved up to Webelos, made a science fair project, and a car for the pinewood derby. He made it ENTIRELY by himself. He did not have the fastest car, but he made a good go of it.


His birthday is Feb. 1. He turned 10.

We got a new bunkbed and since the rails looked like jail bars the kids wanted to climb under them "in jail." Now Jim and Sam don't have to share a bed; they can sleep without kicking each other. Craigslist is awesome for deals like that.
